WILLA PERLMAN is
Managing Partner and founder of Ligature Partners, Inc. She moved into
executive search in 2001 after more than 20 years of senior level
executive management experience in publishing, intellectual property
development and general operating roles. Her prior executive
credentials include: President of Hasbro Properties Group, at Hasbro,
Inc; President of Golden Books Publishing Group; President &
Publisher of Simon & Schuster Children's Books Division; and Vice
President, Editorial Director of "Willa Perlman Books," an imprint of
the HarperCollins Children's Division. Willa started her publishing
career at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich where she held senior level
positions in trade book marketing, publicity and advertising and
launched the children's trade imprint, "Gulliver Books." She was
ultimately named Director of Harcourt's Children's Trade Division and
worked collaboratively with Harcourt Education on the development of

PATTY SULLIVAN
joined Ligature Partners in August of 2007 as a Partner. Executive
search is a natural extension of the work she has done over the past
nine years as founder of p.s. ink., a consulting boutique providing
publishing solutions to the book industry; her client base included
Scholastic, Barnes & Noble, Disney Children's Publishing and the
American Academy of Pediatrics. p.s. ink. also provided publishing
representation to the entertainment industry. Patty spent close to 20
years in executive positions at three of the world's largest trade
publishers: Executive Vice President, Publisher, Golden Books; Senior
Vice President and Publisher, Simon & Schuster Children's Books
Division; and Senior Vice President, Associate Publisher, Sales and
Marketing at Random House Children's Book Division. Patty began her
career at Random House in the special markets division. She then became
one of the founding members of a newly-formed children's book and
non-book division where she was instrumental in its double-digit growth
over more than ten years. In addition, Patty was instrumental in
launching Random House Audiobooks as well as the video and software
divisions. She has worked with all of the major children's licensors as

JUDY DETUNCQ
joined the firm in 2007 as a Partner. For more than 30 years she has
directed measurable sales and marketing improvements at America's
leading educational publishers, most recently as a Senior Vice
President at Scholastic, Inc., where she supervised a professional
staff of specialists in editorial, sales, marketing, art/design and
operations. Her experience covers direct marketing and sales campaigns
reaching multiple educational channels: direct to schools through mail,
telesales and sales representatives; parent-teacher stores; and
trade/mass markets and online. Judy has demonstrated her abilities to
identify opportunities and to diagnose problems, organize to confront
them and introduce strategies that lead to growth in sales and
improvement in marketing techniques. In addition, she has taken the
lead in strategic planning, resulting in improved financial results and
entry into new businesses - decoratives, workbooks, small instructional
programs and trade book libraries.

ANTHONY LUCCI
joined Ligature Partners in September of 2006 as Chief Operating
Officer, bringing to the firm a strong background in strategic
planning, financial management, and business development across a
variety of consumer products and entertainment categories. Anthony was
a founding member of the Hasbro Properties Group (HPG), a division
within Hasbro, Inc. which is responsible for the development of
entertainment and licensing programs around Hasbro's brands. While
initially serving as HPG Divisional CFO, Anthony was involved in all
major license negotiations across all licensing categories. Anthony
then assumed worldwide responsibility for all licensing and business
development activities for the HPG gaming businesses, where he
developed and maintained business relationships with industry leaders
across all forms of gaming. Prior to Hasbro, Anthony held various
positions of increasing responsibility in financial and strategic
management at Allied Signal and The Stanley Works.

ELIZABETH GARZARELLI
is a Principal with Ligature Partners. She joined the firm in 2005 and has six
years of experience in executive recruiting and executive recruiting
research, spanning the fields of publishing, commercial finance and
pharmaceuticals. Her particular expertise is within the educational
publishing field. A former licensed professional counselor and
executive coach, Elizabeth calls upon those same skills in identifying
and interviewing top talent in executives. Additionally, Elizabeth is
an internationally-certified Global Career Development Facilitator.

JAMIE CAVANAGH
recently joined Ligature Partners as a Senior Researcher. She has over
8 years of experience as a Senior Recruiter at K2 Partnering Solutions
and Randstad NA. Her experience has been focused on information
technology, biotechnology, financial services and business operations
and administration. Jamie has a proven track record of identifying
hard-to-find skill sets and a keen interest in child development and
education.

SCOUT IOZZIA
is an Executive Assistant with Ligature Partners. She has a background
in recruiting as well as nine years of publishing experience as an
Editorial Assistant, Executive Assistant and Advertising Account
Representative. She has

Magazine and European Voice, Economist Group publications, and the
